This is an edited planning outline. Its day sequence and main stops carry into the planner, where you can change them. Transport times, admission and prices are not live quotations.

01 / Moving between places

The way there

Compare rail plus a local driver with a licensed car for each intercity leg. Rural stops need a separate last-mile transfer.
Keep days 5 and 7 mainly for travel. Plan an additional night if onward transport does not leave enough time at Zhaoxing.

02 / Before you set off

Arrange these first

Arrange the Panzhou–Libo and Libo–Zhaoxing transfers before booking non-refundable stays.
Confirm the currently open walking routes at Wumeng and Maolan; arrange local guidance where required.
Choose your final night around the actual departure station or airport.

03 / A little flexibility

Make a different day

Shorter trip: choose either western Guizhou around Wumeng or the Libo–Zhaoxing section.
In poor weather, replace a mountain walking day with time in Guiyang or an extra village night.

04 / Your travel dates

Build your budget

Price accommodation, intercity transport, local transfers, tickets and meals separately for your dates. Optional activities and onward journeys need their own allowance.
