Why we built this.
China travel apps for foreigners tend to fall into three buckets: rough machine translation, a storefront for hotel bookings, or tips from someone who left years ago. None of them was what we wanted the first time we got lost in the alleys of Chengdu. So we built our own. Real English, grounded in places we actually know, with AI doing the heavy lifting only where it earns its keep.
