- How a day gets arranged
- 1
Pick your days
Choose the days you want a guide or a car. A price range appears as you pick.
- 2
We check availability
A licensed agency, or a licensed guide working independently, confirms who is free on those dates.
- 3
You get a quote
The price, what it covers and the cancellation terms all arrive together. Nothing is booked until you say so.
- 4
Pay in person
You confirm in the app and pay the provider on the day. The app never asks for card details.
A licensed guide
for the days you want one.
Wherever your trip already goes, we can arrange a licensed English-speaking guide, and a car with a driver when the legs get long.
- Licensed providers
- A price range before you commit
- Paid to the provider, in person
Before you ask for a quote
You see a range, not a price
An estimate starts the conversation. It is not an offer. The final price is confirmed once we know who is free on your dates.
What is included, and what is not
Every quote says what the day includes and what it leaves you to pay for yourself. Read it before you agree to anything.
Free cancellation up to 48 hours
Cancel 24 to 48 hours before and the fee is 30 percent. Between 12 and 24 hours it is 50 percent. Inside 12 hours there is no refund. If the provider cancels, you get a full refund plus compensation.
Who you are contracting with
A licensed travel agency or a licensed independent guide delivers the day. Their legal name and licence number are on your confirmation. InChina arranges the introduction and is not the provider.
A person reads
your itinerary.
Every reply is written in English by our own planners, not a bot and not a call centre. What we cannot answer does not use up your seat.
- 100 credits · one itinerary
- Unlimited questions while the seat is open
- First reply within 24h on working days

“Is Huangguoshu worth it in October, or is it just crowds?”
Mid-October is fine. Go on a weekday and be at the west gate before 09:00, the tour buses come up from Guiyang around 10:30. Skip the shuttle down to Doupotang, it is a 15 minute walk on a good path. Take a poncho, the spray at the curtain cave soaks you.
What a planner seat covers
What you can ask
Route pacing, attractions, transport, hotels, food, weather, what to wear, payments, language, etiquette, safety and budget. As many questions as you like while the seat is open.
What it is not
Not 24/7, and not a booking service: to arrange something on the ground you ask for a quote instead. No visa, medical or legal advice. A new itinerary is a separate generation.
The things people ask first.
If yours is not here, ask on Discord or write to support@inchinatravel.com.
Do I need a Chinese phone number?
No. The app works with any phone number and any email address, and credits are bought through Apple.
Which cities can you arrange a guide in?
It depends where your itinerary goes. The app tells you as you pick the days, so you are not reading a city list that goes out of date.
How do I pay the guide?
In person on the day, to the provider, through a business payment channel. The app never asks for card details and never handles the money.
Can I use credits for a guide or a car?
No. Credits are for itineraries and planner seats. In-person services are quoted and paid separately, and credits never apply to them.
How fast does a planner reply?
Within 24 hours on working days, Monday to Saturday, Beijing time. Seats are limited, so the app tells you when they are full.
What if you cannot answer my question?
Then it does not use up your seat and the credits go back to your balance.

Both start inside the app.
Open your itinerary, pick the days you want help with, and ask. The app is free to download.
